Haryana Police Constable Selection Process: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has invited applications for posts of Constable in Haryana Police Department. The HSSC will recruit 4500 male candidates and 1032 female candidates on Constable Posts.

Selection Process for Haryana Police Constable Bharti 2017
Dear friends, the applicants of Haryana Constable Posts will be called for the written test first. 80% Weightage will be given to the Written test. The detail of written test is given as follows:
Written Test(80% Weightage)
100 MCQs will be set for 80 marks to be answered in 90 minutes duration. Each question will be asked for 0.80 marks. The topics from which questions will be asked for Constable Posts are mentioned below:
General Studies, Agri and Animal Husbandry, Reasoning, Current Affairs, Numeric Ability, General Science, Aptitude, 10 questions will be asked from Computer Knowledge.
Physical Test Details for Haryana Constable Posts
After that, 31500 male candidates and 7224 Candidates will be shortlisted for the Physical test on the basis of marks obtained in the written test. Physical Test will be of qualifying nature and no weightage will be given for the Physical Test but it is compulsory to qualify in the Physical Test.

Details of Haryana Constable Physical Screening Test 2017:
Physical Screening Test is organized to check the fitness of the applicants. Running Test will be arranged by the HSSC for qualified candidates. Details for Running Test for Haryana Constable Posts for different category applicants is given below:

Scrutiny of Documents(8% Weightage)
Candidates, qualified in the Physical Screening Test, will be eligible for the Scrutiny of the documents. The rules of giving marks on the basis of documents of the applicants are given below:
- For Higher Education, candidates will get extra marks. 3 marks will be given for Graduation and 5 marks for Post Graduation.
- If any applicant has NCC Certificate of A, B, or C-Level, he/she will get 1, 2 or 3 marks or Haryana Cadet Corps Certificate of A or B Level will get 1 or 3 marks.
Interview and Personality Test(12% Weightage)
Only 9000 Male Candidates and 2064 Female Candidates will be eligible for the Interview. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written test and scrutiny of Documents and top rankers will be called for the interview. The Final Interview will be conducted for 12 marks and these points will be added to the marks obtained in the written test and scrutiny of documents. After that, Final Merit List is prepared and Joining Letters will be issued.
